How much does an office move in Sydney cost?
Cost depends on three things: crew size, distance, and how long the move takes. A small office (1–5 people) moving within the same suburb might take 3–4 hours with two removalists at $160/hr plus GST. A 20-person office with furniture disassembly, IT equipment, and an after-hours window is more likely to need a custom quote. The fastest way to get an accurate number is to fill in our quote form, it takes about 60 seconds.
How long does an office relocation take?
A single-room office with 4–6 workstations typically takes a full day. A 20–30 person office might take one to two days depending on floor access, lift availability, and how much pre-packing has been done. For larger moves spanning multiple floors or buildings, we plan a staged approach over several days. We give you a time estimate as part of your quote.
Do you move IT equipment and servers?
Yes. We handle computers, monitors, printers, copiers, and server units. We use anti-static packaging and padded crating for sensitive equipment. We transport and position everything, your IT team connects and configures. If you have specialist equipment that needs extra care, mention it when you get your quote and we’ll confirm our approach.
Can you move our office outside business hours?
Yes, this is actually how most of our commercial clients prefer to operate. We do evening and weekend moves across Sydney at the same rate as standard moves. There’s no surcharge for after-hours commercial jobs. Just select your preferred date and we’ll confirm availability.
Do you provide a fixed price or hourly rate?
We provide both, depending on what suits your move. For straightforward local moves, hourly is often the most cost-effective option. For larger or more complex moves, we provide a written fixed estimate so you know your total cost upfront. We agree on the pricing structure before your move date, nothing is confirmed without your sign-off.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. We require a 50% deposit of the minimum charge to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is payable on completion of the move.
