Gold Line Removals isn’t a faceless logistics company. We’re a small, family-run removalist business based in Cremorne on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, and every move we handle carries our family name on it. That matters to us, and we think it should matter to you too when you’re choosing who walks through your front door to pack up your life.
My story
Hi, I’m Guilherme Hartmann, but most people just call me William, it’s easier.
I came to Australia in 2017, fresh out of university in Brazil with a degree in Control and Automation Engineering. The plan was simple: spend six months learning English, then head back home and get on with my engineering career.
That’s not quite how it went.
Six months turned into a visa extension. The visa extension turned into starting a removalist business with a friend, Nicolas. We launched Gold Line together, learned the trade the hard way, one couch, one staircase, one tight hallway at a time, and built something real. When Nicolas decided to head back to Brazil in December 2019, I took the business on solo and have been running it ever since.
Nearly a decade later, I’m still here in Sydney, still learning something new about how to move things from A to B every single day. The engineering brain never really switched off, it just found a different problem to solve. Turns out a tricky staircase, a grand piano, and a too-narrow doorway is its own kind of engineering challenge.
Our family
Today Gold Line is a proper family business.
There’s me (William) running the show, my wife Katia alongside me, and our little princess Zoe, the real boss, if we’re being honest.
Then there’s our work family. Thales has been our sales guy since 2019, he’s the calm voice on the other end of the phone when you’re stressing about your move date, and the person who’ll make sure your quote is honest and your job is set up right.
And on the trucks, our crew of ten hard-working Brazilian boys who handle the heavy lifting every single day. They climb the stairs, navigate the tight corners, wrap the fragile stuff, and absorb the pressure so you don’t have to. They’re the heart of this business, and the reason we deliver on what we promise.
We speak English and Portuguese, so if Portuguese is your first language and it’s easier to sort out the details that way, just let us know.

We’re small on purpose. We’re not trying to be the biggest removalist in Sydney — we’re trying to be the one your neighbour recommends, the one your colleague calls back for their next move, the one you trust enough to hand over the keys.

What we do
We handle local Sydney moves, interstate relocations, office and commercial moves, packing services, and short-term storage when you need a bit of breathing room between properties. Whether it’s a studio in Neutral Bay or a four-bedroom family home in Mosman, the same care goes into every job.
